According to Moushumi, "For a strawberry scrub, blend 5 strawberries, add 1 teaspoon moong dal (mung bean powder), 2 egg whites and rich yoghurt to hold the fruit pulp on the face." A perfect au natural way to brighten the skin, de-tan and repair skin damage.
Plump up your skin with plums
Rich in Vitamin A and C, they add a healthy young glow to your skin by reducing wrinkles. Moushumi suggests, "Apply a pack of three plums and a teaspoon of moong dal for 15-20 minutes, before rinsing it off with cold water." Alternately, one can also squash some black plum and squeeze in some lemon juice. Apply a thick layer on your face. These packs work great as astringent for oily skin, reducing acne by cleaning the pores. For dry to normal skin, one can add honey in the mask and apply it on your face.

"Use the juice of litchis as a toner before steaming the face for five minutes. Follow with a gentle face massage with its fruit pulp along with sugar granules; this will exfoliate your face. Wash it off and then steam it again for 5 minutes, then reapply the pulp with a cotton pack. This procedure acts as a natural skin colour lifter that breathes life back to your skin," Recommends Moushumi.

Dr Jaishree says, "Cherries are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C. They act as free radical scavengers and prevent toxins from damaging the skin." People with dry skin should steam their face for 5 minutes and scrub with sugar, cream and cherries. The sugar granules when rubbed with the cherries work as an excellent scrub and leave the skin feeling baby soft.
